- Build a png icon file with your favorite graphic editor (transparency allowed)

- Copy and paste it into the src folder of your application project

- Right-click on the image icon into the project files list, select the file properties

- Under the 'BlackBerry File Properties' section, check the "Use as application icon" checkbox
